PENNY

Penny came to Barrique, thanks to a partnership with Gwen Huikeshoven and Shellie Marshall of Tum-Tum’s PBGVs and GBGVs in Australia, early fall of 2024.

Already mated to one of our favorite boys over in Australia, Penny’s time in Texas started in motherhood. Penny has been an amazing addition to the Barrique family, we are forever grateful to Gwen and Shellie for entrusting such a special girl to us.

Shortly after the babies gained their independence, Penny focused on getting her post-pregnancy body back in shape so we could have fun in the field and show ring before returning to the whelping box one last time.

In her first weekend at a hunt test, Penny excelled beyond our imagination, earning her Hunting Instinct Test on her first day and then on her second, earning a Master Hunter-level score!

Penny is also well on her way to earning her AKC Championship, having earned both of her majors in just two weekends!
